About Us
Black & Tan is a home away from home for your Dachshund.
Our Home
With nearly 2 acres of enclosed land to exercise their little legs, enrichment games to keep them entertained and on hand resident management from Erik (the Boss) and (Princess) Frankie, your sausage will be loved and kept socialised throughout their stay.
While boarding with us they will become part of our family and home life. They will enjoy full free rein of our fields and enjoy regular off lead play with Erik, Frankie and all other boarders staying with us at the time.
We are not kennels and your dog will be living in our warm and cosy home during their stay. Enjoying naps by the Aga and snuggles on the sofa.
We have sleeping areas for all our residents consisting of beds, crates, blankets and all the amenities and love your Daxie requires during their stay.
All accommodated dogs must be fully up to date with vaccines, flea, tick and worm treatments. We require a copy of their up to date vaccine card to keep on file.
All dogs must be fully socialised and owners must consent to allow their dog to board with other boarders, as well as our resident dogs and cats.
We can board unspayed females but not while in season or coming into season. Unfortunately, we no longer board full entire unneutered males.
We are regularly vetted by High Peak council and they have granted us a license for 8 dogs, plus our own resident dogs.
