Max has been staying with Black & Tan Dachshund Boarding since November and he absolutely loves each time. Erik and Frankie have made him so welcome and even share their blankets and bed with him. Max is so happy to stay with them he practically jumps out of the car to get inside. We know that he is safe, warm and happy so never need to worry about a thing. Fully recommend Nina, Russ, Erik and Frankie for anyone wanting a safe and happy place for their fur baby to have a pawcation.

Our 7 month choc and tan mini dachshund Betty has just returned from her 6 night stay at Black and Tan Dachshund Boarding. It was the first time we had ever left her away from us and we was nervous that she wouldn’t settle and would miss us but not at all! Betty loved Nina and found comfort in her straight away and loved playing with her two sausages Erik and Frankie plus the other boarders! Nina kept us updated regularly on how Betty was and what she’d been up to with messages, pictures and videos. It was so reassuring to know she was ok and having lots of fun! We couldn’t have found a better place for her to stay whilst we were away, it’s in such a lovely location with big fields for them all to run around and play in. Nina and Russ looked after Betty like she was one of their own, we highly recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate for her to go back again.

Black and Tan boarding is a real home from home for your dachshund. Our girl Holly stayed here for 2 weeks and I was worried she might miss us. Not a bit of it!! She loved her stay here, playing with the other boarders and the resident dachshunds, Frankie and Erik, chasing the ball around the field and then snuggles in the evening. Plus you get constant pictures, videos and communication from Nina to reassure you. I can’t recommend them highly enough, if you would like beloved dog to be happy and safe whilst you’re are away, then this is the place.

We left Frank for a trial night before he stays in May and July and we couldn’t be happier. It’s the first time we’ve left him with anyone other than family so we were nervous but there was no need to be - we were kept updated throughout the day with pictures and videos and he came home exhausted from all the playing; a sign he had a great time! Feel so much better about leaving him again in the coming months. Thank you Nina! X

It was the first time we left our 6 month old Rocky with anyone , we met Nina a couple of times before his stay and she was so understanding of any of my totally unnecessary concerns ( over protective mum 🙄😄). They are looked after like they are her own , in a great environment, what daxie couldn’t love 2 acres to run round with likeminded friends . We can’t rate highly enough ,and have several more stays already booked. Thank you so much Nina and Russ for looking after Rocky so well 🐾💙

After feeling very apprehensive about finding the perfect place for our little Mabel to stay, we found Black & Tan Dachshund Boarding. We were going away for 12 nights to get married abroad and had always left Mabel in the care of family previously. Nina was absolutely brilliant. She ensured that Mabel had a trial stay to begin with so that she was more familiar with her surroundings and other daxies. Safe to say, she loved her time spent there and made lots of new friends. Nina sent regular updates and photos too, so we knew exactly how Mabel was doing.
